Concerning the deterioration of society, environment and human rights as a result of the military control over metals like gold (Au), tantalum (Ta), wolfram (W), and tin (Sn) by the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) nearby non-governmental military groups, we insist on no use of conflict minerals strategy and practice of EICC and GeSI. In fact, we have adopted the EICC-GeSI Conflict Minerals Reporting Template and package tools announced by GeSI and the EICC to investigate if suppliers implement all the related policies.
